Terms & Conditions
The working terms that apply to estimates and projects carried out by Shahzad Carpenter.
Quotations
Estimates are itemised and valid for 30 days. Any change in scope, material or finish is re-quoted in writing before work continues.
Payments
A booking advance is payable on confirmation, with staged payments linked to agreed work milestones and the balance due on handover.
Timelines
Schedules are shared before work begins. Delays caused by client-side approvals, material changes or site access are added to the timeline.
Materials
Brands and grades are specified in the quotation. Substitutions are made only with your approval, at equivalent or better quality.
Warranty
Carpentry carries up to a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Hardware carries manufacturer warranties. Damage from misuse, water ingress from unrelated sources, or third-party alterations is excluded.
Site Access & Safety
Clients provide reasonable site access, water and power. Our team follows safe working practices and clears the work area daily.
Cancellation
If a confirmed project is cancelled, costs already incurred for materials, custom fabrication and labour are payable; the remaining advance is refunded.
